The Flora and Fauna of Teacapan, Sinaloa., Mexico.

The Flora and Fauna is incredible in the zone due to the diversity of kind of animals, plants and flowers, all due to the system of estuaries, swamps and rivers as well as the miles and miles of virgin beaches.

THE FLORA OF TEACAPAN:

The Plants play an important role in Teacapan , since it make it green all year long, you won´t find such another place with the deep vagetations and the jungle of three million palm trees in Mexico. All the flora in the zone provides to the state beauty, food and medicine.

The vegetation of Teacapan is made up of native and acclimatized plants. Native plants

are those that have always grown in the state, while the acclimatized ones are those that have been brought from other places and, due to the favorable environment, have managed to reproduce.

Natives plants of Teacapan are: poplars, oaks, ash, reeds, jacaranda, mimosa, ceiba, huizache, pule, mangroves, nanchi, mulberry, venadillo, tabachín, pithaya, cacaragua, among others.

acclimatized plants are: coconut trees, mangos, plums, tamarindo, guaba, limes, lemons, cucumbers, papaya, laurel, bougainvilleas and others.


THE FAUNA OF TEACAPAN:

The group of animals living in Teacapan are: Deer, wildcats, sparrow hawks, aguililla, urracas, badgers, wild boar, hawks, skunks, rabbits, sparrows, chachalacas, ducks, swallows, pichihuilas, iguanas, alligators, etc.
